When CBUS Mattress opens its showroom
CBUS Mattress keeps afternoon hours six days a week and closes on Mondays. The showroom opens from noon to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday.
The company's website recommends booking a time ahead. That way a shopper can test mattresses with one person's full attention and no interruptions. Columbus averages 5,320 heating degree days and 1,019 cooling degree days a year, per NOAA normals for 1991-2020. It gets 42.0 inches of precipitation and 23.6 inches of snow in a typical year.
Mattresses and bedding at CBUS Mattress
The store sells mattresses from a small Grandview warehouse it turned into a showroom. The company says the plain space keeps its costs down, so it can price mattresses well below big box retailers. Its website also names a second showroom, the Dublin/Powell location, and lists free same-day delivery.
The store holds a 5.0 rating across 119 Google reviews. Reviewers mention most often the lack of sales pressure and the owner's patient explanations of how each mattress differs. Several also point to fast delivery, with the old mattress hauled away and the new one set up.
Buyers who need time to pay can use a 90-day same-as-cash plan through Merchants Preferred. The company says that plan approves up to $5,000 on a lease-to-own contract, with no money down.

We came in on a Saturday and loved the process of testing out mattresses to find the one that fit us best. No high pressure sales and Ben is knowledgeable about the differences in each. Great experience right down to the delivery. Our friends and family went on our recommendation and also agree.
Ben just makes this a great shopping experience. Happy with the purchase, even happier the entire process. No reason to stress with trying all the other big name stores.
Really nice guy, and good recommendations, very professional and with flexible pricing.
In the business's own words
At C*BUS Mattress, we believe that mattresses shouldn't cost so much. You deserve a great nights sleep, but it doesn't have to cost a fortune. We converted a small warehouse in Grandview into our Showroom to keep our overload super low and allow us to sell mattresses at much lower prices than the Big Box Retailers.
